What is Lifeline?

Lifeline is a personal emergency response system that allows someone living alone to connect quickly with trained responders in an emergency. When a Lifeline button is activated — whether worn as a pendant or wristband — the subscriber is immediately connected with a response associate who stays on the line until help arrives.
Responders may include the Sun City Center Emergency Squad, Hillsborough County Fire or Sheriff’s Office, a neighbor, or a family member. More than 500 calls for help are made annually using the system, many resulting in timely transport to medical care when necessary.

Systems Available

Standard System – A button worn as a pendant or wristband that calls for help when pushed.

Fall Detection System – Detects a fall automatically and signals for help even if the wearer can’t push the button.

GPS-Enabled System – Works anywhere in the United States with cell coverage, ideal for active residents on the go.  

Each system enables direct communication with the response center at the press of a button.

The Lifeline Medical Hardship Fund

The Men’s Club desires that anyone who wants to use our Lifeline service is able to do so. While the Lifeline equipment is provided free-of-charge by the Men’s Club to all Lifeline subscribers, if your financial situation is such that you can’t afford the monthly monitoring fee, we want to help.
